I’m Ana Campbell, the heart behind JAMiCA Kinder Photography. My passion for photography began early in life and has since grown into a thriving career that has led me through every facet of the photography business.

25 years on, I'm a wife to my best friend and mum to two teens—James and Jessica—the namesake of JAMiCA. 

 

My journey into kinder photography began unexpectedly when one of my children started kindergarten.

At the time, I was facing anxiety and stepping into a room full of people felt daunting. 

As a parent at the kinder I had to attend the AGM which was not something I was looking forward to considering I had been experiencing unexplained panic attacks.

But a kind word from his teacher—'See how you go, no pressure'—gave me the nudge I needed. 

That night, I became president of the Parent Comittee. I craved a challenge and a return to working life. I soon found myself immersed in kinder life.

 

I saw firsthand the dedication of educators who nurture confidence and connection in every child.  

That experience shapes JAMiCA today. I’m passionate about capturing authentic moments—kids being kids, in the place where they thrive. My goal? Stress-free photo weeks for centres and joyful memories for families.

I not only have a passion not only for photography, my moto being “ A good photographer loves life more than photography”, but also strongly passionate about early childhood education.
